Darren Cooper is the co-founder of Chelmsford studio Yoga at the Mill and Satvada Retreats.
With almost 20 years’ experience of yoga and meditation, Darren gained his 200 hour teaching qualification at London-based Yoga Campus in 2016.
He has been privileged to have studied with leading world yoga teachers, including: Jason Crandell, Simon Low, Tara Fraser, Norman Blair and Paul Dallaghan.
Darren is a qualified software engineer who has worked in the industry for 20 years and the lead architected for the reservie system.
Lucia Cockcroft co-founded Chelmsford studio Yoga At The Mill and Satvada Retreats after a decade as a journalist in the business, health and travel sectors. Keen for a change of direction, Lucia trained as a yoga teacher after 10 years of practice, gaining her first teaching qualification in northern California with the Sivananda school of yoga.
She has since studied with world-leading yoga and mindfulness meditation teachers, including Judith Lasater, Sarah Powers, Bo Forbes, Jason Crandell, Jon Kabat-Zinn, Christina Feldman and Norman Blair.
Recent experience includes two years’ postgraduate training with Bangor University to teach mindfulness, and yoga nidra teacher training with Uma and the yoga nidra network. She is a qualified Mindfulness in Schools teachers.
Lucia is passionate about the ability of yoga and meditation to transform on many levels.
